Dibakar Banerjee-directorial ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ earned around Rs 15 lakh on its first day at the box office in India. The film is, in a nutshell, a mix of clutter-breaking realities of the digital world. It stars Paritosh Tiwari, Bonita Rajpurohit and Abhinav Singh.
‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ clashed with Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy’s ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ at the box office. The films released on April 19. Bankrolled by Balaji Motion Pictures, ‘LSD 2’ opened to Rs 15 lakh (0.15 crore) on its opening day at the domestic box office.

On Friday, the early estimates suggest that the film witnessed an overall Hindi occupancy of 5.48 per cent. It is, however, expected to earn a decent sum over the weekend.

The cast of the film includes Paritosh Tiwari, Bonita Rajpurohit, and Abhinav Singh amongst others. Before the release of the teaser, producer Ektaa R Kapoor and director Dibakar Banerjee had come up with a disclaimer for the audience that ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ would have shocking content.
Our section of the film’s review reads, “Credit to Dibakar Banerjee for extracting decent performances by newbies. Also, he has maturely handled sensitive moments, be it Game Paapi going nude as he faces his fears, or Noor talking about getting herself a ‘real’ vagina. The bold scenes also do not titillate and are not shot crassly (thankfully). We only wish the stories had more depth and came to a proper conclusion.”
