Lok Sabha election 2024: ఇంకొన్ని గంటలు. దేశంలో లోక్‌సభ ఎన్నికల ఘట్టానికి తెర లేవబోతోంది. మొత్తం ఏడు దశల్లో ముగిసే ఎన్నికలు ఇవి. తొలి విడత పోలింగ్ ఉదయం 7 గంటలకు మొదలవుతుంది. మొత్తం 21 రాష్ట్రాలు/కేంద్ర పాలిత ప్రాంతాల్లో 102 స్థానాలకు పోలింగ్ జరుగనుంది. దక్షిణాదిన తమిళనాడులో మొత్తం 39 లోక్‌సభ నియోజకవర్గాలకూ పోలింగ్ తొలిదశలో ముగుస్తుంది.

దీనికి అవసరమైన అన్ని ఏర్పాట్లను పూర్తి చేసింది కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం. జూన్ 1వ తేదీ నాటితో ఏడు దశల పోలింగ్ ముగుస్తుంది. అదే నెల 4వ తేదీన ఓట్లను లెక్కిస్తారు. లోక్‌సభతో పాటు ఏపీ, ఒడిశా, సిక్కిం, అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్‌లల్లో అసెంబ్లీకీ ఎన్నికలు జరుగుతాయి. ఆయా రాష్ట్రాల్లోని ఓటర్లు కొత్త ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ఎన్నుకొంటారు. అతి పెద్ద ప్రజాస్వామ్యం దేశంలో ఓటర్లు ఎవరికి పట్టాభిషిక్తులను చేస్తారనేది 4వ తేదీన తేలిపోతుంది.

తొలిదశ పోలింగ్‌ను ఎదుర్కొంటోన్న నియోజకవర్గాల్లో ఇదివరకే ప్రచారానికి తెర పడింది. మిగిలిన చోట్ల ఎన్నికల ప్రచారం పతాకస్థాయికి చేరుకుంది. కేంద్రంలో అధికారంలో ఉన్న బీజేపీ- ఎన్డీఏ, ప్రతిపక్షాల ఉమ్మడి కూటమి ఇండియా ఈ ఎన్నికలను ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మకంగా తీసుకున్నాయి. గెలిచి తీరాలనే పట్టుదలను ప్రదర్శిస్తోన్నాయి. దీనికోసం అవసరమైన వ్యూహాలను రూపొందించుకున్నాయి.
