Four people were killed, and eight others were wounded on Monday after a gunman opened fire in Mersin, a city in southern Turkey, according to local media reports.
At least two people were killed when the assailant started spraying bullets inside a restaurant, with the two others killed elsewhere, with the accused fleeing in a car, Turkish news agency DHA said.

A massive manhunt has been launched by the police to track down the gunman, it said.
