‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’, starring Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy, is off to a dull start at the box office by earning around Rs 50 lakh (0.50 crore) on its first day in theatres. Directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, the film explores modern-day relationships.
‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ clashed with Ektaa Kapoor ‘LSD 2’ on April 19. According to the early estimates by an industry tracking site, the relationship drama raked in roughly 0.50 crore on Day 1. The film witnessed an overall Hindi occupancy of 9.10 per cent on Friday.

However, ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ has earned great reviews from critics and is expected to work well over the weekend.

‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ marks Illeana’s first film after embracing motherhood. She last featured in ‘The Big Bull’ alongside Abhishek Bachchan. Meanwhile, Sendhil was last seen in the 2022 series, ‘Doom Patrol’. His last Hindi film appearance was in Raj and DK’s acclaimed, ‘Shor in the City’.
The film is bankrolled by Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Swati Iyer Chawla.
