Actor Alia Bhatt, who drew attention for her fashion choices at the Cannes Film Festival, has now responded to online trolling over a viral clip that claimed she was being “ignored” by international paparazzi. Her reply to the comment on Instagram has caught the attention of fans, many of whom praised her for handling the troll with humour.
On Wednesday, Alia shared a reel on Instagram featuring her custom ivory silk saree-gown look from Cannes. In the comments section, a social media user wrote, “What a pity, no one noticed you (sic),” along with a laughing emoji. Alia replied, “Why pity love? You noticed me 🙂 (sic).”

The actor’s response quickly drew attention online, with several fans praising her for replying with humour and confidence. The exchange came after social media posts claimed that she had been overlooked by international photographers during her Cannes appearance.

During the event, she appeared in a peach gown at the opening ceremony, an ivory silk saree-gown at the Bharat Pavilion inauguration, and an ice-blue gown inspired by Cinderella at the screening of La Vie d’Une Femme.
