The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on Thursday, praised the Interim Budget 2024-25 and remarked that the first budget in the Amrit Kaal of India has established a strong base to fulfil the aspirations and resolutions of a developed India. He further said that this budget gives priority to the deprived and strives to fulfil the dreams of the aspirational society, the poor, villages and the middle class. “The announcement made today about the income tax remission scheme will provide significant relief to around one crore individuals in the middle class…Today, in this budget, crucial and substantial decisions have also been taken for the farmers…,” he said in his address after the Interim Budget 2024-25.
