Pope Leo has vowed to minimize his rhetorical conflict with US President Donald Trump, saying that reporting on his recent comments on his Africa journey has not been “in all its factors.”

The second US-born pope said the remarks he made two days earlier in Cameroon decrying that the earth was being “ravaged by a handful of tyrants” weren’t directed at Trump. Speaking to reporters in English on board his journey to Angola for the next leg of his 10-day Africa journey, the first was made while speaking to journalists in English.

Leo claimed that that statement was “prepared two weeks ago, well before the senator ever made any comments on me and the message of peace I am promoting.”

The pope said on Saturday,” As it happens, it was looked at as if I was trying to question the chairman, which is not in my curiosity at all.”

A harmony meeting in the area of Bamenda, Cameroon, where the Pope made remarks about tyranny, took place in the country’s epicenter of a dissident issue that has raged in the Anglophone region for almost a century.

Trump called Leo “weak on offense, and horrible for overseas policy” in a post on Truth Social a week ago as he prepared to begin his trip.

The Pope claimed on Saturday that his preaching reflects the bible message of peace that is shared by all people and no Trump.

The pontiff remarked that” a certain tale has been told in some of its aspects but hasn’t been accurate in all of its aspects due to the political climate that was created when the president of the United States made some remarks about myself on the first day of the vacation.”

” Most of what has been written since then has been more criticism on criticism, trying to interpret what has been said.”

Leo has consistently urged for speech and peace, and he has condemned the use of spiritual justifications for war.

He particularly described Trump’s threat to annihilate Persian civilisation as” truly unacceptable” in an online blog.

Leo is referring to all warfare that are ravaging the world, not just the Iran issue, as the Vatican has pointed out.

The Pope declared that he would continue to preach the Gospel in the near future.

He said,” I come to Africa primarily as a priest and as the head of the Catholic Church. I come there to commemorate with, encourage, and follow all the Christians there.”

He “attracted your interest to some future liturgical readings” about what it means to be a Christian, follow Christ, foster fraternity and brotherhood, and” searching even for ways to promote justice in our world, promote peacefulness in our earth,” he said.
