Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, addressed paying guests at a lavish Sydney occasion where tickets reportedly cost upwards of £1,700 for access, and described her “very difficult” existence in the public eye.
The 44-year-old addressed a women-only “ultimate women ‘ trip” surrender hosted by broadcaster Jackie’ O’ Henderson at the InterContinental Coogee on the last day of her and her father Prince Harry’s trip to Australia, organized by GemmaO’Neill’s Besties business.
Around 300 attendees showed up at the dinner, which followed a moment of public appearances, including meet survivors of the Bondi terrorist assault and promoting Invictus Australia.
Meghan’s look, which lasted for about two days, was reportedly worth up to £130,000.
