The wait is almost over for lakhs of students across the state as the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has officially announced that the Maharashtra HSC Result 2026 will be declared on May 2, 2026, at 1 pm.
Students who appeared for the Maharashtra Board Class 12 examinations can check their scores online through the official result portals once the link is activated.

A press conference is scheduled for 11 am at the board’s Pune office, where officials are expected to announce key highlights of the Maharashtra Board 12th Result 2026, including stream-wise pass percentages, district-wise performance, toppers data, and other important details.
MAHARASHTRA HSC RESULT 2026 DATE AND TIME
According to the official notification, the Maharashtra Board Class 12 Result 2026 will be released on:

- Time: 1 pm
- Press Conference: 11 am

Students who took the exams held between February 10 and March 11, 2026 will be able to download their provisional marksheets online.
HOW TO CHECK MAHARASHTRA BOARD 12TH RESULT 2026 ONLINE
Students can easily access the Maharashtra HSC Result 2026 by visiting the official result website and clicking on the result link. They need to enter their seat number and mother’s first name exactly as mentioned on the hall ticket.
After submitting the details, the provisional marksheet will appear on the screen. Students should download and save a copy for future reference.

The exams were conducted across 10,664 junior colleges and 3,387 main examination centres.

Students are advised to complete account setup in advance to avoid delays on result day.
POST-RESULT SERVICES: RECHECKING AND PHOTOCOPY OF ANSWER SHEETS
Students who are not satisfied with their scores can apply online for verification of marks and photocopy of answer sheets. Applications will remain open from May 3 to May 17, 2026.
For re-evaluation, students must first obtain a photocopy of the answer sheet and then apply within five working days after receiving it.
LAST YEAR’S MAHARASHTRA HSC RESULT PERFORMANCE
In 2025, girls outperformed boys once again in the Maharashtra HSC examinations.

- Boys Pass Percentage: 89.51%
- Overall Pass Percentage: 91.88%
