A man has been detained after the deaths of his companion and two children in a allegedly domestic violence attack, one of the most terrible encounters by senior police, have been made.

After calling Triple Zero to record an event to police, the gentleman, 48, was taken into custody at the Campbelltown house just before 8pm on Monday. His companion, who is in her mid-40s, and the babies, both under 10, were discovered in different areas with abrasions and other important wounds.

Acting Superintendent Michael Moroney said on Monday night,” It was a particularly violent crime scene.

According to Moroney, police had discovered a number of things in the house that “would be of interest in the accidents sustained.” The house contained no weapon.

According to Moroney, the man had no legal history and was not known to the police. He was cooperating with investigators and was scheduled to be fully interviewed on Monday night. The family had no previous contact with the Department of Communities and Justice and had not been with the authorities.

” I can assure the public that the NSW Police place a high priority on domestic violence, and we will continue to prioritize arresting reported DV offenders,” Moroney said.

As authorities canvassed the murder scene and interrogated neighbors, police cordoned off a portion of Raymond Avenue around the house. At the time of the reported assault, no one else was alleged to be present.

The fatalities come times after 865 people were detained in the most recent generation of Operation Amarok, which targets home and family murder. Over 2000 charges were laid by the soldiers over the course of four weeks.
