Alix Earle felt “nervous” about filming Earle Meets World.
The 25-year-old social media star and her family star in Earle Meets World, the new Netflix show, and Alix has revealed how her thoughts about the series have evolved over time.
She told E! News at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue launch in New York: “We were filming with my family from January up until a few weeks ago and it was such a wild ride.
“I think I was a little nervous in the beginning going into it, I just didn’t really know what to expect. But it honestly brought us all a lot closer, because it’s like a therapy session.”
Alix explained that the show’s producers encouraged the family to confront their issues head on.
The blonde beauty said: “We have to talk about the issues that we’re having with one another. They’re like, ‘All right, go, like, hash out this issue.’ And I’m like, ‘Damn, usually I just like to sweep this under the rug.'”
She added: “It was actually therapeutic and brought us a lot closer.”
Despite her experience in front of the camera, Alix admitted her family outshone her on the show.
She said: “I was probably the worst one on the show. My family members, they’ve never really been in front of cameras before, so they were just letting it rip.”
Meanwhile, Alix recently revealed that she feels proud of her personal growth.
The podcaster – who posed for the new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue – penned a love letter to her future self, reflecting on her personal growth over recent years.
Alix – who also competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2025 – wrote: “I am so proud of you for continuing to reach for the stars. You’ve pushed yourself out of your comfort zone, which has resulted in independence and growth. You’ve gone on journeys, you’ve made new friends, you’ve travelled, you’ve gone through hardships and experiences and all of that has made you who you are today. You even started off the year travelling to Botswana and shooting for SI Swimsuit, which couldn’t have been a better start to this journey.”
