After being diagnosed with cervical cancer, Nicole” Snooki” Polizzi found solace on TikTok.
The 38-year-old fact star described how she started “freaking out” and was certain she would die when she was initially told she had the disease at level one, but hearing additional women’s stories online helped give her comfort.
She informed E! News:” When I received the analysis, I was like, Oh my God. I’m going to die. I find it hard to believe this is occurring. I’m freaking out.
” I immediately visited TikTok. There were so many movies where people claimed,” I only got diagnosed,”” I’m in remission,” and” I’m going to be fine.” ‘
That made me feel but at ease and as though I’m going to be fine,” she continued. Why is no one talking about this, I’m like? “
Snooki decided to formally record her treatment plan after her virtual discovery.
She stated,” I’m gonna go on TikTok and tell you what I’m going over.”
I think it was very realistic. We had a system where people could express their feelings. I appreciate you but little. Let’s go through a surgery up. ‘”
Lorenzo, 13, Giovanna, 11, and Angelo, 6, were the Jersey Shore star’s three babies, Lorenzo, 13, Giovanna, 11, and Angelo, 6, who were also in the family of her and partner Jionni LaValle.
She continued,” I said that mama has this and needs surgery, and I’m going to be fine.
But my oldest asked,” Are you going to heaven?” Are you going to pass away? ‘
Are you going to keep me anything, he joked? ‘
” My children are interesting and my kids are wonderful. They realized that everything will be okay and that Mommy needs to be well and that she needs to survive these operations. “
In an effort to avoid needing additional care, Snooki is having a hysterectomy and is making an effort not to look too far in the future.
When asked how she was getting ready for the procedure, she merely stated,” I’m taking it one step at a time.” “
The TV star made the announcement that she had been diagnosed with cancer in February and urged her supporters to undergo Pap smears, a regular verification procedure that examines cervical cells for cancer or precancerous body changes.
Not the information I was hoping for, she said, blatantly. Not the worst news, either, just because they caught it but quick.
That is the reason I am absolutely urging you to get your Doc smears removed. I’m 38 years older. For about three or four years now, I have been having trouble with unusual Pap insinuations. And now look at me, and instead of just, like, putting it off because I didn’t want to, and it hurt and I was scared, I just went and did it, [and ] cancer is present, and it’s only stage I and it’s curable. ”
