Essendon with a late flurry. Out of nowhere the Bombers steal the lead by half-time. They reeled in a 20-point deficit. Super impressive.

That was a terrific run of three majors in five minutes, capped by a Xavier Duursma after the half-time siren.

Gold Coast end a streak of five consecutive behinds with their seventh goal. And it’s that reliable man up forward, Ben King, who makes no mistake. The Suns have had far more scoring shot this term and have jumped to a 20-point lead. Players like Bailey Humphrey are running hot, while Matt Rowell and Christian Petracca in the middle are getting the job done.
