India captain Rohit Sharma presented Mohammed Siraj with his T20 World Cup Champions ring for his contributions to the team’s success last year in the USA and the Caribbean. Siraj played a vital role, especially during India’s first few games in the USA. The Indian team was presented with their Champions ring at the Naman Awards last year and Siraj wasn’t a part of the function.

Rohit decided to make amends for that and in a special moment, met up with the pacer to give him his ring. The India captain said that Siraj was due at the function and was proud to present him with the ring and both shared a hug as well.
“This is for Mohammed Siraj. He was due at the function and played a vital role in our T20 campaign. So, I’m proudly presenting him a very special ring,” said Rohit.
The Indian pacer had a big, beaming smile as he wore the ring and posed with it for the cameras.

Siraj and Rohit in top form during IPL 2025
Siraj and Rohit have been in top form for their respective sides this season. Siraj, who was bought by Gujarat Titans, was able to regain his touch after missing out on the Indian squad for the Champions Trophy. The Indian pacer has picked up 14 wickets in 10 matches so far. Rohit had a slow start to the season and was dismissed by Siraj earlier in the campaign.
Since then, Rohit has been in top form and gone on to score 293 runs in 10 matches for MI. On Tuesday, May 6, both MI and GT will square off for the second time at the Wankhede stadium.
