A shocking hit-and-run incident unfolded in Karnataka’s Bengaluru when a speeding Toyota Innova rammed into a two-wheeler and dragged it along the road. Eventually, the bike burst into flames in a dramatic sequence captured on CCTV.
The incident took place on Saturday evening at 1st Cross in Jayamahal in RT Nagar, and according to preliminary information from the police, the Innova crashed into the bike and continued moving instead of stopping, trapping the two-wheeler beneath the car.

As the vehicle sped away, the bike was dragged for several metres along the road, causing severe damage. During the impact, petrol began leaking from the motorcycle. The situation quickly escalated when the leaking fuel ignited, setting both the bike and the Innova tyres on fire while it was still moving.
As the flames also caught the tyres of the car, the driver abandoned along with other occupants are seen fleeing the spot.
A woman who was riding the motorcycle sustained serious injuries in the collision. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where she is currently undergoing treatment. Police said her condition is being closely monitored.
The entire chain of events, from the moment the car rammed the bike to the dramatic fire that followed, was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the area. The footage is now being examined by investigators to identify the driver and other occupants of the car.
Police have registered a case and have launched a search for the accused.
