Under the direction of the group behind The Rowing Pavilion, Odyssea City Beach, the maritime restaurant has changed hands and will undergo a rebrand.

In April, Odyssea cafe owner Fabio Hupfer closed the diner on 187 Challenger Parade in bid farewell to City Beach residents.

This year, Mark Pearn, Nic Strachan, and Evan Hewitt announced their plans to reopen Bert’s in August.

The pair has also opened restaurants in Scarborough and Mount Pleasant, including General Public Food Co.

The name” Bert’s Shop” is a tribute to a City Beach shop and browse hangout, and was created by structures studio Woods Bagot.

The shop ran until 1962 during the 1950s.

” This initiative is very dear to our hearts,” Hewitt said.

We are very happy to have the opportunity to reinvent and revitalize such an iconic place because both I and my own children have grown up along this beach. &nbsp,

Bert’s is about creating a place where people feel at home, about sea, sun, society, and society.

The users described Bert’s as a new take on seaside dining in their statement.

In 2016, Mr. Hupfer inaugurated Odyssea as part of the City of Perth Life Saving Club’s offices in City Beach.

The Town of Cambridge and the state government, including the Department of Sport & Recreation, funded the$ 20 million redevelopment of the club’s$ 7.5 million facility.

In the recently redeveloped City Beach complex, which also houses Clancy’s Fish Bar, Odyssea was one of three franchises that opened.
