Australian television star Grant Denyer has been hospitalised following a three car collision on the famous Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst.

The 48-year-old Deal or No Deal host driving a Chevrolet Camaro was attempting to overtake Richard Barram in a white Volkswagen four hours into the Bathurst 6 Hour, when the pair made contact just after Griffins Bend sending them both veering out of control.

Barrum’s car then careened into a stationary Mazda driven by Matt Kiss, while Denyer’s Camaro slammed into a concrete barricade before coming to rest on the opposite side of the track.

That portion of the track was under a yellow flag at the time due to Kiss’s stranded Mazda.

A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said two men in their 40s were taken to Orange Hospital following the incident.

Denyer was taken in a stable condition with a shoulder injury, while Barram was treated for leg and rib injuries.

Kiss was not injured in the collision.

Denyer, a Gold Logie winner, has a long history on the track dating back three decades.

He placed first in the V8 Utes Australia Summer series in 2004, and won the Australian Endurance Championship in 2016.
