Thomas Rhett has had his second child.
The 35-year-old state performer and his wife Lauren Akins welcomed child Brave Elijah into the world last month. The couple previously have girls Willa, 10, Ada, 8, Lennon, 6, and Lilie, four together.
The couple shared a number of pictures of their child son and wrote in a mutual post on Instagram:” Welcome to the world Brave]blue and natural heart emojis.
” Oh. my. good nature This beautiful girl BOY is just in a big ole pool in our hearts.
” Brave Elijah Akins was born last week at about 10 pounds and two days early-thank you Jesus, this big boy didn’t waited another two weeks to be born,” he said in a heart-obsessed emoji.
Then Lauren thanked her father for being her “biggest hero.”
She continued,” Thomas Rhett was my biggest champion in labor delivery [white heart emoji] He helped deliver him [white heart emoji] ), was the first one to see and *tearfully*, mixed with a little shock announce to us all in the room” It’s a BOY.
She then stated,” We are thus pleased God chose us to have YOU sweetheart pie.”
” We are completely in love with you great Brave boy and your four daughters are smitten with you.”
Thomas and his family admitted in September that they might have given birth to their second child.
He made a joke to Taste of Country,” Something over five, we will have to obtain a Sprinter van,” he said.
The country singer also revealed that he and Lauren had chosen not to reveal their baby’s sexual this time around.
He stated,” We will wait until the day of to determine the female, and the due date is in March.”

The pair, who met in primary school and briefly dated as teenagers before reuniting in 2011, made their pregnancy announcement in an Instagram video back in August.
