The senior government and nuclear powerbrokers in Iran have been dealt a devastating blow by Israel’s assault on them. The leading scientists overseeing Iran’s covert nuclear program, as well as the chiefs of the military forces and the wealthy Revolutionary Guard, were among the casualties in the aircraft and airstrikes that started last Friday.

He frequently delivered remarks laden with harsh words, like another Guards leaders, toward Israel, and in 2016 he claimed that there was “fertile surface” for the “annihilation, the wiping out, and the decline of the Zionist regime.”

Iran’s semi-official media company Tasnim quoted him in a 2015 statement saying that the “nuclear problem and human rights are simply pretexts” for international powers to strike Islam. He oversaw Iran’s Khatam-al Anbiya main offices, also known as the defense emergency command.

Ali Shadmani was appointed as the mind of Iran’s crisis control after Gholam Ali Rashid’s death on Tuesday AEST, but he only served there for a few days before he was killed by himself in an Israeli airstrike. He was described by the Israeli military as Khamenei’s” closest defense adviser” and Iran’s” senior-most military official.” According to the Israel Defense Forces, he was killed in an airstrike in northern Tehran “following specific intelligence.”

The Israeli military claimed that senior Revolutionary Guard officers were killed on June 13 when they attacked a vault to prepare for an Israeli assault on Israel. One of the main characters responsible for Iran’s strikes on Israel in April and October 2024 is alleged to be Hassadeh.

Iranian Islamic Azad University president and philosophical mathematician
A nuclear professor who was “one of the Islamic Republic’s most accomplished scientists and a prominent figure in Iran’s higher learning,” according to Iranian state media.
According to The New York Times, three more nuclear experts, Ali Bakaei Karimi, Mansour Asgari, and Saeed Borji, were killed on Saturday by the Egyptian state. Along with his wife and two children, Bakaei Karimi was killed.
