Delhi Police are questioning a tantric and one of his associates in the case of the three dead bodies found inside a car in Peeragarhi on Sunday. According to them, the victims – Randhir (76), Naresh Singh (47) and Laxmi Devi (40) – met the baba in Peeragarhi in the morning before coming back in the afternoon.
Police said that the victims met the baba at 10.30 am in Peeragarhi and left for northeast Delhi via the Ring Road. Then, they came back to the same area around 3 pm.

Further investigation has revealed that the three had known each other for a long time. Randhir and Shiv Naresh were both involved in the property business while Laxmi worked in elderly home care. Police added that the three were in constant contact among each other.
As many as three liquor bottles and used disposable glasses were found near the bodies. Vomit was also found in the mouths of Shiv Naresh and Lakshmi as well as disposable glasses.
The investigation has also revealed that Lakshmi was married once before. Her ex-husband lives in Bihar while she lived in Delhi with her current spouse.
The police have found nothing suspicious after examining the profiles of the three. No signs of external injuries have also been found.
The postmortem examination of Randhir and Shiv Naresh has been conducted while that of Lakshmi is pending. The viscera of their bodies will also be preserved for the purpose of examining chemicals in their bodies.
Besides questioning the tantric and his associate, police are checking CCTV footage to scrutinise every activity of the victims along the travel route.
Earlier, sources told India Today that poisoning may have caused their deaths, as there were no immediate signs of robbery or foul play related to theft or struggle at the scene.
