A man from Tamil Nadu documented his mother’s experience of travelling by flight for the very first time, and the internet cannot stop melting over her heartfelt reaction.
Manish, an Instagram user, shared the now-viral video on his account, capturing the emotional milestone in a simple and touching way.
The clip begins with him placing his arm around his mother’s shoulders as he excitedly tells the camera that it is her first time flying in an airplane.

The video then transitions to moments inside the airport and onboard the aircraft. His mother is seen stepping into the flight and settling into her seat with a mix of curiosity and anticipation. As soon as she finds the window seat, she lifts the window shade and gazes outside, her expression showing wonder and childlike excitement.
When the aircraft begins to take off, she instinctively holds onto the seat, but instead of panic, she bursts into laughter. Manish can be heard saying that he thought his mother would “freak out,” but she didn’t. She simply enjoyed the experience, and her smile remains constant as the plane ascends into the sky.
Later in the clip, she is seen trying a sandwich served on the flight, carefully unwrapping it and tasting it with visible amusement. The video ends on a more emotional note, with her singing softly and wiping tears from her eyes.
