Tamil cinema’s beloved actor Simbu, AKA Silambarasan TR, continues to be an inspiration for fans, thanks to his impressive physique at the age of 42. His sculpted six-pack abs and toned muscles speak volumes about his dedicated and disciplined fitness regimen. The actor recently opened up about his take on fitness and health. At a public event, when he was asked what message he would like to share about staying fit, Simbu offered some thoughtful advice.

Breaking the restrictive notions people have for certain ages, Simbu stated, “Actually, we can eat anything at this age.” However, he immediately emphasised the importance of moderation. He advises, “Fitness is something that takes time, and there are no immediate problems right now. But don’t take it for granted and spoil yourself, as you will struggle a lot later on.”

Looking towards long-term health, Simbu also shared a tip regarding eating habits. “To avoid future health issues, don’t sleep immediately after eating a heavy meal,” he suggested. Moreover, he stated that maintaining a healthy lifestyle boils down to mindful eating, recommending, “Eat a little lighter at night, and even sleep with a slight hunger, and everything will be fine.”

Speaking about his remarkable fitness journey, Simbu left his fans stunned with his physical transformation. Back in 2020, the actor reportedly shed around 30 kilograms, undergoing a major transformation.

In an interview with the Times of India in October 2020, his fitness trainer, Sandeep Raj, shed light on the actor’s routine and dedication. “He starts his day at 4:30 AM with a brisk walk, followed by a gym session targeting various body parts. Initially, we worked out four days a week, but now it’s five days a week,” Raj revealed.

The fitness trainer also detailed the significant changes Simbu made to his diet. “He started by cutting out non-vegetarian and junk foods, then transitioned to alkaline-rich, nutrient-dense foods. Simbu later adopted a calorie-deficient diet and even took up liquid meals.”

Demonstrating his commitment, Sandeep revealed that the actor even found creative ways to incorporate healthy foods. He revealed that Simbu opted for juice salads he wasn’t particularly fond of. His diet primarily focused on high-protein, low-carb meals, with the actor taking control by cooking all his food himself.
