Defending tournament champion Su Oh is a confirmed starter in next month’s Australian WPGA Championship at Sanctuary Cove.

In a further boost to a field already containing star pair Hannah Green and Steph Kyriacou, Oh – who won the most recent staging of the WPGA Championship in 2022 at Royal Queensland – will also contest the March 19-22 event that is co-sanctioned by the WPGA Tour of Australasia and the Ladies European Tour (LET).

Fellow Australians joining Green, Kyriacou and Oh in the field are LET members Kelsey Bennett, Kirsten Rudgeley, Maddy Hinson-Tolchard, Justice Bosio, and Steph Bunque as well as Sarah Kemp, a winner of 12 WPGA Tour of Australasia events.

Also entered in the event are Lydia Hall (Wales) and Ashley Lau (Malaysia), who are also past winners on the WPGA circuit.

WPGA Tour of Australasia chief executive Karen Lunn said the “blend of Australian stars and international winners would ensure a highly competitive championship” in the battle for the title and the Karrie Webb Cup.

“Players like Kirsten, Kelsey, Maddy, Justice, Su, Steph and Sarah are outstanding

ambassadors for Australian women’s golf and looking to have a huge 2026,” Lunn said.

“At the same time, the inclusion of Lydia Hall and Ashley Lau, who have both enjoyed

success on the WPGA Tour of Australasia, adds some real depth to the field which we will

continue to add to over coming weeks.

“Sanctuary Cove’s Palms Course is a world-class venue and will be a fantastic stage for our

leading Australians and international players to showcase their talent.”
