South America’s charge for the Rugby World Cup will be led by Argentina.

Argentina may submit an application to host the 2035 World Cup as part of a larger South National competition that will include Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay.

World Rugby’s executive director Alan Gilpin is speaking to the Pumas ‘ homes to assess their suitability as guests for the occasion that will take place after Australia hosts the 2027 event and the USA the 2031 RWC.

Japan, Spain, Italy, and a mixed Middle East pay are all expected to get their front-runners to host the event.
