After rumors that a person tried to break into a vehicle with a youngster in, a primary school in Brisbane’s northside was put on lockdown on Thursday afternoon.

Nick Fogarty, the director of St Columba’s Primary School, wrote in an email to families that the person had tried to run away and was pursued by some local parents in an email sent to parents that was visible by this mast.

He claimed in the internet that” the child did not go to St Columba’s.”

On Thursday evening, St. Columba’s Major School was locked up. Premis20

On the active Kedron Brook Road in Wilston, the Catholic school is located.

According to Fogarty,” A couple of parents chased the offender through the 7-11 car garden and down Days Road,” in reference to a city that is just a block away from the school.

” I put the school in lockdown]and called the police when we learned of the condition.”

When officers arrived, I spoke with them, and they confirmed what had happened.

Around 3:30pm on Thursday, a Queensland police spokeswoman said officers had responded to reports of a man attempting to steal a vehicle on Anthill Street, a few blocks from the school.

They said the car’s user interrupted the person before he fled on foot.

Authorities are currently conducting guards to find the person.

No injuries were reported, and investigations are ongoing.

Fogarty claimed in his message that the event served as a useful reminder to families to never leave their kids in the car.

Things can happen quite quickly, and given our site on a busy street, he wrote,” we are a little vulnerable as a school.”
