Savannah Guthrie cried as she described her “agony” over the departure of her mother.

The 84-year-old family Nancy Guthrie was reported missing at the end of January by the Now host and her siblings. As the research continues to get her amid the idea she was kidnapped, the 54-year-old presenter has given her first personal interview about her family’s ordeal, in which she admitted she is having sleepless nights over the fate of her mother.

Today broadcast a preview of Hota Kotb’s interview with Savannah on Wednesday ( 25.03.26 ), before its full-length broadcast on Thursday ( 26.03.26 ) and Friday ( 26.03.26 ).

As you can tell from the video’s introduction, Hoda said to friend guests Craig Melvin, Al Roker, and Carson Daly,” It was a truly personal conversation.

We’re going to have the entire thing for you tomorrow and Friday, but we wanted to share one of the interview’s times with Savannah to anyone with information about Nancy.

Savannah sobbed as she said,” One needs to do the right thing in this picture. We are suffering. We are suffering. It is intolerable.

” And to consider what she experienced. Every day in the middle of the night, every night, I wake away. And in the gloom, I can picture her despair. Even though it is illogical, those emotions must be considered. And I won’t keep my mouth a secret. But she must then return home.

Hoda praised her speaker’s” steeliness,” saying she has returned to Now as a temporary replacement for Savannah.

Savannah has a sense of desperation and tenacity, she said.

She’s hoping that someone, whoever they are, will see something and say anything, and as you’ll see in the coming weeks, she talks about so many things. She discusses the analysis, discusses her belief, and describes how she is coping with the one section of that book.

She noted that Savannah mentioned how” God’s holding her hand” and that she could not help but be amazed at how she could sit there with an clothing on, had a conversation, and have just strong ideas about what she sees going forward.

After Nancy failed to turn up for a church service on February 1, the day after her relatives had dropped her home, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD ) launched an urgent search for her.

According to investigators, she was abducted immediately, and they have seen concealed man’s surveillance video outside her door.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos made an open statement earlier this month that he would not provide further information about the cause behind the theft.

He told NBC News,” We believe we know why the kidnapper ] did this and that it was targeted, but we’re not entirely certain of that.

” We had some strong ideas about what happened at the time, and those ideas haven’t changed,” said one analyst.
