Actor Rashmika Mandanna was seen embracing traditional customs, sporting a mangalsutra and sindoor as she stepped out with her actor-husband, Vijay Deverakonda. The couple was spotted walking hand in hand during a fan meet following a visit to Vijay’s ancestral village in Telangana earlier this week.
Since their high-profile nuptials, the duo has remained a major focus for fans, appearing both relaxed and radiant during this latest public appearance. For the fan meet, Rashmika wore a sophisticated beige printed saree accented by a bold red border, perfectly highlighting her bridal glow. She styled her hair in soft, cascading curls and layered several gold chains with her mangalsutra.

Vijay opted for a white floral-patterned kurta and matching pyjamas. The pair was returning from Thummanpet village in the Nagarkurnool district of Telangana, where they had gathered with relatives and local well-wishers to complete their traditional post-wedding rituals.
The trip to the village was part of several traditional rituals following their private wedding, which was attended only by their closest circle. After their Udaipur nuptials, the couple performed a Satyanarayana Swamy Vratham and a gruhapravesam (house-warming) at their newly constructed residence in Thummanpet. This is a common custom in many Indian homes to mark the beginning of a marriage. The local villagers greeted the pair with music and celebrations, as crowds gathered to offer their best wishes to the stars.
After flying back from Udaipur, Vijay and Rashmika made a stop at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) temple in Hyderabad, where they took the time to distribute sweets and celebrate their happy news with fellow devotees. Footage and images from their various post-wedding visits have been shared extensively online, highlighting how the pair are prioritising these age-old customs and fully embracing their cultural heritage.
The wedding festivities are set to culminate in a lavish reception in Hyderabad on March 4.
