Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda hosted their wedding reception in Hyderabad, Telangana, on March 4, 2026. The couple posed with their family as they arrived at Taj Krishna hotel.
As Rashmika and Vijay entered the venue together, they greeted the photographers with folded hands. Rashmika made a heart sign with her hands, while Vijay expressed gratitude by bowing during the photo sessions. The duo also called their parents for a group picture before heading inside.

Rashmika opted for a traditional red silk saree featuring an intricate black and gold border. She completed her look with heavy gold jewellery, including a layered necklace and a matching headpiece, radiating a compassionate and elegant festive charm.
Vijay wore a classic and clean aesthetic, pairing with a white V-neck kurta paired with a matching traditional dhoti. His look was accessorised with a simple silver chain and a sleek watch, demonstrating an awareness of traditional style.
Actor Sarathkumar with his wife Radhikaa Sarathkumar were among the early guests at the party. While Sarathkumar wore a white kurta paired with matching trousers, Radhikaa opted for a dark green saree and matching blouse.
In an earlier official statement, the newlyweds announced that their decision for an invitation-only reception followed consultations with local police authorities. The officials advised tighter safety and crowd-control measures due to the overwhelming public attention surrounding the celebrations.
“Virosh wedding reception to remain an invitation-only event. Fans and guests are requested to support safety measures (sic),” the note read. Expressing gratitude for the support they have received, Vijay and Rashmika’s statement read, “Your safety and happiness mean everything to us. We are deeply thankful for your love and blessings, and we request your cooperation in helping us keep this celebration safe and joyful for everyone (sic).”
While stars from the Telugu industry, including Allu Arjun and Ram Charan, are expected to be at the reception, sources confirm that Sreeleela, Karan Johar, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika’s Cocktail 2 team, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Homi Adjania will also attend the event.
Earlier, on Tuesday, the couple visited Vijay’s ancestral village in Telangana to perform traditional rituals. The duo performed a Satyanarayana Swamy Vratham and a gruhapravesam (house-warming) at their newly constructed residence in Thummanpet. This is a common custom in many Indian homes to mark the beginning of a marriage. The local villagers greeted the pair with music and celebrations, as crowds gathered to offer their best wishes to the stars.
