“Assalamualaikum Lyari” — Ranveer Singh brought one of Dhurandhar’s most popular moments to life at the NMACC third anniversary gala in Mumbai on April 3, instantly winning over the crowd. The actor emerged as one of the biggest highlights of the evening, with videos of his energetic performance and dialogue recreations quickly going viral online.
In one of the clips doing the rounds from events at NMACC (Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre), Ranveer is seen recreating Akshaye Khanna’s iconic line as Rehman Dakait: “Assalamualaikum Lyari,” drawing loud cheers from the audience.

He also performed another memorable dialogue from the film, “Ghar ki yaad nahi aayi tujhe, Jassi (Didn’t you miss home Jassi)”, originally delivered by Udaybir Sandhu’s character, further amping up the excitement at the event.
Apart from the dialogues, Ranveer lit up the stage with his dance moves as he grooved to Gallan Goodiyan, with Shreya Ghoshal and Shankar Mahadevan performing the song live. Nita Ambani also joined him, making it a lively and memorable moment from the gala.
