Police have shot a man they suspected was armed, following a crash off the Bruce Highway on the Sunshine Coast.
Officers were initially called to a crash at Sippy Downs shortly before midday on Wednesday.
Police said they then attended a second crash, suspected to be related, on the Bruce Highway near the Mons Road on-ramp in Forest Glen less than an hour later.
Police, who believed the man in the car that crashed in Forest Glen might have been armed, shot him near the crash scene.
