A man has been shot dead by police in the eastern Brisbane suburb of Tingalpa after officers were called to the scene for a welfare check.
Police were called to Thurston Street about 9am on Tuesday. The report voiced concerns for the man’s mental health.
After being shot, he was treated by paramedics, but died at the scene.
