According to his companion Damon Minchella, Noel Gallagher was the happiest he’s ever been on the Oasis meeting trip next month.
After being separated from him since the group cut in 2009 and playing their first music together for 16 times, the 58-year-old guitar buried the hatchet with his 53-year-old younger brother.
Matt Minchella, a previous Ocean Colour Picture bass player and a member of Richard Ashcroft’s band, was on the tour. The Gallaghers were supported by the original Verve singer on all of their international dates.
Noel and Liam have known each other for more than 30 years, and Damon, 56, has never seen the song from Don’t Look Back In Anger be so glad.
Noel was in providing from 5pm, he claimed on the Oasis radio, and that there was no reason for him to be there with the entire crew and to spend the time chatting. He was just so glad, and evidently Andy, Gem [Archer], with all that Bonehead has been through with throat cancer and what have you, he was just so happy. Everyone was just hanging out. Far too many phones and tablets are available; in the past, no one had them, so I assume that will help you eat a lot of them before a performance. Noel was exquisite, but I’ve never seen him so happy.
They all watched our displays on the weekends, and there was a lot of hanging around. Yet Noel’s children would be able to watch the performance; it was just so great. It gives it that element that makes it different from being the huge rock cash show and kind of ties in with the purpose we’re all here in the first place. We’re all separate partners; The Verve and Ocean Colour Scene were once partners with Oasis, and finally we started dating each other. Then Noel and Liam having Richard perform indicates with them on their own. Oh, okay, we’re all really a bunch of f*ing good players who came from somewhat s**t backgrounds who people really like. It brings up the idea that we don’t all be delighted and hang out rather than be enigmatic like Taylor Swift.
Noel, 58, and the rest of Oasis hung out together before and after the performances, but Liam, 53, was nowhere to be seen backstage and would only arrive at the venues 10 minutes before Oasis were due. They included bassist Andy Bell, guitarist Gem Archer, guitarist Paul ‘ Bonehead ‘ Arthurs, guitarist Paul ‘ Bonehead ‘ Arthurs, drummer Joey Waronker, and guitarist Joey Waronker.
Due to their long history of fights, including the bust-up in Paris that ended the group in 2009, Liam’s presence was caused by the fact that he and his nephew Noel had agreed to become fully apart behind so they could find the Oasis Live ’25 visit insured.
There are many reasons for it, Damon said, but the main one is that Noel and Liam couldn’t get the journey insured because there was too much pressure on them, so they knew early on that this is the way things are going to get. For Liam, because well, he has no off change, but if he’s hanging out behind, he’ll just be talking, talking, talking, and blowing his voice out.

Damon was really impressed by Liam’s organized behavior, which included living off the grid and making sure his speech was at its best for each performance.
Although Damon is certain that Liam occasionally vaped.
He stated:” Me and Rich spoke about it, the way he held it together to finish that journey. No alcohol, no medicines, and no smoking.
” Toward the close of it, he was starting to smoke a little bit. You could see it because Noel is performing his music in a small camp behind, which changed from having waters in it to water and a few cigarettes by the tour’s conclusion. Because it was like a big issue to f**k up and was like a great thing to f**k up, God bless him for it. When you look at the ticket costs, you see that people are putting their hard-earned money on the table because they made it work. People have left those shows, and I had have paid ten times that to go see those shows. They were fantastic every day. The words of Liam was fantastic.
Noel acknowledged that the crowds at the gigs blew him away and that the he Songwriter of the Year Award was presented at the BRIT Awards 2026 on Saturday ( 28.02.26 ).
He said,” We loved every minute and every second of it, but to come back after all these years, to get number one albums and everything else is pretty crazy.”
” The performances were incredible, especially the ones in Manchester,” I’m sort of lost for words, truly. The performances were impressive.
With Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace on board as the directors of the award-winning filmmakers, Steven Knight, the director of the Peaky Blinders ‘ music video Shut Up And Play The Hits, is producing an Oasis Live ’25 Tour documentary.
The reunion’s fans got the best fly-on-the-wall appearance at rehearsals and pre-tour meetings as cameras rolled throughout rehearsals and pre-tour meetings.
Noel is persuaded that the cut will be “astonishing” despite the fact that he has only seen a portion of it so much.
He stated,” I’ve just seen a tiny little bit of it, and it’s hard to have an judgment on it because I’m just looking at tiny snippets.”
Anyone who has seen it, or seen more of it than I have, has said that it’s awesome. It will be astonishing if it even captures 5 % of that trip. Looking forward to it.
