Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said that the entry of actors into politics will not impact the DMK, asserting confidence in his party’s position ahead of elections.
Responding to questions about new political entrants, Stalin said, “No matter who comes, it doesn’t worry us. We will do our work. People of Tamil Nadu will take care of that.” On electoral prospects, he added, “Very good! Very good!”

Taking a swipe at AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami over criticism of his financial management, Stalin said, “He’s at the peak of failure, and that’s why he’s speaking out of frustration. There’s no need to worry about it.”
On the BJP’s increasing visits and campaigning in Tamil Nadu, Stalin maintained that it would have no effect. “No matter how many people come, the DMK-led alliance, under the leadership of Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin, cannot be defeated,” he said.
Reacting to administrative changes, including the recent change of the Chief Secretary and the Chennai Corporation Commissioner, Stalin said, “Let them do whatever they want. It’s not going to make any difference. Let them come, we’ll see.”
Criticising the AIADMK, Stalin alleged that the party has become subservient to the Centre. “The AIADMK in Tamil Nadu has become a slave to Delhi. They’ve gone on lease, they’ve become slaves. That’s why Delhi is ruling them,” he said, adding that it was “sad” to see a Dravidian party in such a state.
On actor-led political outfits, including the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), Stalin reiterated that he remains unfazed. “I’m not worried about who comes. We’re focused on our work here,” he said.
When asked about youth people being influenced by actors and incidents of accidents linked to such trends, Stalin said, “The people of the country are watching all of this. They will decide.”
