Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the new Burgman Street in India, introducing a second-generation version of its 125cc maxi-style scooter with upgrades in design, comfort, and features. The updated model aims to strengthen its appeal in the premium scooter segment.

The latest Burgman Street is available in two variants — Ride Connect Edition and Ride Connect TFT Edition. The latter stands out with a 4.2-inch colour TFT display and a keyless system, enhancing the overall riding experience with a more advanced interface and added convenience features such as an answer-back function.

In terms of design, the scooter adopts a modern styling approach, combining sharp character lines with a curvaceous body profile. Premium elements such as split-lens LED headlamps with integrated position lights, LED indicators, a smoked windscreen, and metallic-finish emblems further elevate its road presence.

Under the skin, the new model continues with Suzuki’s SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) engine platform, derived from the Suzuki Access 125. The 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine delivers 8.43bhp and 10.2Nm of torque, tuned for improved low- and mid-range performance, ensuring smoother and more responsive city riding.

The scooter also focuses heavily on comfort and practicality. It features a long, well-cushioned seat, flexible floorboard, and front footrests, along with a lightweight yet rigid frame for better handling. A long wheelbase and tuned suspension setup contribute to improved stability, while the Combined Brake System ensures balanced braking.

Utility has been enhanced with a larger 24.6-litre underseat storage compartment, dual front pockets, USB charging, and dual utility hooks. A 5.5-litre fuel tank and a tail-mounted fuel lid add to everyday convenience, while features like Suzuki Easy Start System, side stand interlock, and waterproof switches improve usability.

The new Burgman Street will be available at dealerships across India starting April 8, 2026, in multiple colour options for both variants. With its updated package, Suzuki aims to further solidify the Burgman Street’s position as a distinctive and premium offering in the 125cc scooter segment.
