Rohit Sharma opted to retire himself out after picking up a niggle during the game against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at his home ground, Wankhede Stadium in IPL 2026 on Sunday, April 12.
Right after the fifth over of the 2nd innings, Rohit Sharma had called out for the physios, after having picked up an injury to what looked like his hamstring.

Mumbai Indians have yet to make an official statement regarding the injury.
Rohit walked off after scoring 19 off 13 with Suryakumar Yadav replacing him.
