The teaser for the much-anticipated Valentine’s Day K-drama, Melo Movie is here. Featuring Parasite star Choi Woo-shik and beloved actor Park Bo-young, the story is written by Lee Na-eun, the writer of Our Beloved Summer.
The series follows Ko Gyeom (played by Choi Woo-shik), a man who earns a living acting as an extra in films. On the other hand, Park Bo-young takes on the role of Kim Mu-bee, a woman whose name sounds like “movie” but who ironically dislikes films.

The plot takes a romantic turn when the two meet and eventually develop feelings for each other. But just as things seem to be falling into place, Ko Gyeom leaves, leaving Mu-bee heartbroken. Fast forward to the future, Mu-bee becomes a celebrated film director, while Ko Gyeom re-emerges in her life – this time as a film critic.
The supporting cast adds even more intrigue, with Lee Jun-young (Mask Girl) and Jeon So-nee (Parasyte: The Grey) bringing depth to the story. Their roles remain under wraps, but their inclusion has fans excited.
The show is all set to start streaming on Netflix from February 14.
