Assembly Election News 2026 Live Updates: Poll campaigning is in full swing across West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry. The battle will be between ‘Brand Modi’ and ‘Brand Mamata’ in West Bengal. In Assam, the BJP is in a direct contest with the Congress. In Tamil Nadu, the MK Stalin-led DMK will look to retain power while the BJP-led NDA will look to make a comeback. In Kerala, the saffron party will look to become the third force, challenging the dominance of the Left and Congress. In Puducherry, the NDA will look to retain power.
