Actor Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ seems to have established a strong command at the box office. As it entered its second week on Monday, the film didn’t show major drop signs. It performed rather better than expectations, and collected Rs 3 crore nett on the 11th day.
The film, which is based on the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, stands at Rs 68.40 crore nett after its 11-day run in India. Interestingly, the film’s second Monday collection is in the range of how it performed in its first week at the box office.

‘Kesari Chapter 2’ earned around Rs 3.6 crore on its first Wednesday, and Rs 3.5 crore on Thursday. The second-Monday figures don’t show anything worrisome.

The film is now heading towards a Rs 70 crore benchmark. It has three more days to enjoy a good run at the ticket window, with ‘Raid 2’ hitting the screens on Thursday.
‘Kesari Chapter 2’ is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, and stars Ananya Panday and R Madhavan in important roles.
