AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Friday highlighted welfare measures in Punjab in a visit to Gujarat, claiming that farmers and labourers are now receiving free medical treatment of up to Rs 10 lakh in top private hospitals.
In a post on X, Kejriwal said that hospitals where even billionaires seek treatment are now providing free care to farmers and workers in Punjab. He added that similar benefits could be implemented in Gujarat if his party comes to power, urging voters to “remove BJP and bring the broom.”

Kejriwal further said that Punjab has a “farmers’ government,” listing several measures introduced in the state. According to him, farmers receive free electricity for agriculture, payments for crops are made within 24 hours, and canal water coverage has expanded significantly—from 20% to 78% of fields in four years.
He asserted that these initiatives could also be replicated in Gujarat if voters support his party. The AAP leader also mentioned that he addressed a public rally in the tribal region of Dahod, where a large number of people gathered.
On Thursday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of “looting Gujarat” and alleged that the Congress and BJP have been working together to weaken the state.
Addressing a public rally in Jamnagar, the former Delhi Chief Minister claimed that several government departments in Gujarat have become deeply corrupt. He claimed that the ruling BJP has “ruined” the state while accusing the Congress of enabling this decline.
