Karolina G has revealed that she has been told to stay calm about US immigration authorities because speaking up could apparently result in her being denied a visa.
The Brazilian actor is gearing up to close both Saturday of Coachella in Indio, California in April, with Justin Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter even topping the lineup at the two-weekend event.
The singer claimed in a direct conversation with Playboy that she has been advised to stay away from specific statements, including “ICE out.”
She claimed that” People will say it’s better you don’t because you might get a call the next day saying,” Hey, we are taking your visa away.” You turn into fish because some people are” those who want to show their strength.”
Karol acknowledged that she struggles with pushing herself, saying,” If I’m being honest with you, it’s something that crosses the line of what I have to do to protect myself.” But ultimately, what is my responsibility if I’m in this place?
She stated that she doesn’t want to create pointless claims just to get attention.
She stated,” I don’t want to just say “ICE out” and nothing else will happen. I’m definitely going to have to do it even more.” I only want to speak for my neighborhood. However, I’m letting you know that I want that to think more as a human being. I’m not saying I’m going to accomplish it, but rather that I will do it with my mind. But I want to take a seat and think about what that means in my mind.
Karol continued, noting that she is aware of the size of the software at Coachella.
She stated to the release,” I have a big step. I want to delay, and I want to remain firmly on my own level for my community if someone ever does something to me. So I may need to be more cautious and hold off until my switch so that I may speak and stand up for something more.
