We are almost at the last leg of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s wedding festivities, and the photos from their Hyderabad reception have finally dropped. After serving one strong look after another, their reception ensembles too (just like their wedding) stayed firmly rooted in South Indian tradition — elevated, personal and rich in detail without feeling excessive.

Rashmika chose a deep red Mysore silk saree with intricate gold zari work along the border — a timeless bridal shade that always feels right for a wedding celebration. Her ensemble subtly highlighted the Gandaberunda emblem, the two-headed mythological bird associated with Mysore royalty, woven in silver taar plated in gold and woven into the textile narrative. It was a quiet but meaningful nod to her roots.
Her jewellery stayed traditional and striking. At her neckline sat the Peacock Fountain necklace, crafted in detailed Nakshi work. Sculpted peacocks framed a cascading fountain-inspired centre, while emeralds and Burma rubies set in traditional kundan added colour and depth without overpowering the gold.

A layered gold odiyanam cinched the waist, giving the saree structure. There were temple-inspired earrings that echoed the same avian detailing, along with lotus-motif bangles. And a coordinating hathphool completed the look with cohesion.
Hair and makeup were intentionally restrained. A centre-parted braid adorned with fresh flowers kept the focus on the jewellery and saree border. Kohl-lined eyes, softly sculpted skin, and a muted lip tied everything together.
Vijay’s reception look
In contrast to the richness of Rashmika’s styling, Vijay kept things clean and powerful. He wore a traditional ivory vesti and V-neck shirt with silver kasavu detailing. His angavastram carried the Gaja-Kesari motif, another heritage symbol, woven using precious metal threads in line with the craftsmanship narrative of the collection.
Accessories were minimal. Two solid white-gold chains were his only additions — substantial yet understated. The cooler tone of the white gold subtly balanced Rashmika’s warm yellow-gold jewellery, making their looks feel coordinated without being overtly matched.
Wedding and other festivities
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s Hyderabad reception on March 4 was a carefully curated celebration following their intimate destination wedding in Udaipur on February 26. Held at the Taj Krishna in Banjara Hills, the evening brought together close friends, family and industry figures from across South Indian and Hindi cinema.
On Tuesday, the couple shared intimate photos from their sangeet celebration which was also held in Udaipur.
