With a dazzling 56-point victory over Geelong at Carrara to begin their period, Gold Coast lived up to high expectations.

The Friday night marquee match at Carrara pitted the Suns against last year’s losing grand finalists, and they were much too strong, running out winners by 19.11 ( 125 ) to 10.9 ( 69 ).

The Cats responded in the last period when the game was over, and the Suns put up two seven-goal rooms that looked on objective for a 100-point success.

Ben King and Bailey Humphrey each scored four targets, but Christian Petracca, the actual star, kicked three incredible goals and recorded six certifications, 10 inside 50s, and 12 index involvements.

Suns coach Edgar Hardwick praised his group’s purpose at the competition and stress for most of the match.

He acknowledged Petracca’s “outstanding” factor.

” I think we know what kind of player he can be, and he [Petracca ] used his ball brilliantly in the first half,” Hardwick said on Fox Footy.

” The means he’s gone about his summer, he’s set himself up for a wonderful time”.

The Cats went into the sport without star ahead Jeremy Cameron and pilot Patrick Dangerfield, while the Suns were without injured Brownlow medallist Matt Rowell.

Chris Scott, a mentor for Geelong, acknowledged that his team knew they had problems going into the game.

He said,” We probably needed them [the Suns], but they were quite the opposite.

But Scott said the Cats “wouldn’t been overreacting to our achievement”. &nbsp,

You can’t dispute Gold Coast’s strong performance, despite the challenging opening circular for Geelong.

Fair to say, if they keep playing like that the Cats won’t be the only group running into a large percentage on the Coast this year.

The transfer of some essential workers is never going to be easy for the Cats, but the Christian Petracca-Bailey Humphrey agreement will be one to enjoy.

We may return tomorrow for Brisbane vs. Western Bulldogs and GWS vs. Hawthorn.

But in the meantime, from myself Andrew McGarry, thank you for joining us tonight, and have a good evening!

” We didn’t get overreacting”: Cat manager Chris Scott stays quiet after great damage

By Andrew McGarry

After that difficult opening defeat, Sydney instructor Chris Scott faced the press.

What’s essential is for us to get what we need from that and move on, he said,” It’s obviously a really tough day.”

” We didn’t get overreacting to our effectiveness.

We were aware of the issues we had going in, [we perhaps needed ] the Suns to be a little off, and they were quite the opposite.

” We do need to be a little cautious, we don’t make it bigger than it is.”

Scott said that sometimes when you get beaten by that much it makes it “look like we got slaughtered”, but he didn’t think that happened now.

We may appear fine, then make a expertise error, and then they burned us on the way back, according to me.

After that outstanding performance, Christian Petracca is speaking with Fox Footy, which is the highest-rated achievement of his profession from a championship person and Norm Smith medalist.

” I didn’t believe we’d perform the way we did, you dream of that — but to come out and complete a… three and a half third performance is great”, Petracca said.

When I make a defense commitment, I think I’m at my best. I’m only appreciative of being in this club.

There was a lot of passion for his partner in crime, Bailey Humphrey, who he described as an extraordinary person and people.

He strikes me as a little off. he puts a lot of strain on himself.

” The science ( with Humphrey ) is wonderful!”

There will be activities where that gets flipped, but now Bailey was going nicely up ahead and I was in the center.

The Suns are roaring the league music

By Andrew McGarry

Unsurprisingly, the Suns are in the room after Christian Petracca and Zeke Uwland are hosed with a particular colored beverage, and there is a lively version of the team music.

With a smile on his face, Damien Hardwick is awaited as he stands on the actions of the apartments. That’s never a bad stop to the time for the Coasters.

FT: Gold Coast defeats Geelong by 56, 19.11 ( 125 ), to 10.9 ( 69 ) ).

By Andrew McGarry

The longest nights ends for Geelong with the ultimate alarm.

With that five-goal last name, at least the Felines had something to focus on.

However, the Suns and how harmful they are have been made headlines in this sport.

Four targets for Ben King and Bailey Humphrey, but the sun of the Suns was Christian Petracca.

He had 34 disposals, three objectives, five signs, six certifications, 10 inside 50s, and 12 report involvements. It’s terrifying.

If he can make that sort of game frequently, then the sky is the control for Gold Coast.

Ollie Henry responds to Geelong.

By Andrew McGarry

The Cats keep coming, and they have their second of the last quarter through Ollie Henry.

It’s all too much, very soon, but Damien Hardwick wouldn’t be content.

The percentage has returned to 55.

For the Suns, Noah Anderson kicks one.

By Andrew McGarry

We are serious in moment on these, and the Suns have got on the table for the last phrase.

Joel Jeffrey slammed into Noah Anderson’s waiting position on the wing, ran a few steps, and therefore hooked a blow to the center of the earth. Not sure if it was done on purpose, but it succeeded.

The captain boots one from 50, and the group goes away once more.

The result has grown by more than 10 goals.

Does Graham misses for Gold Coast

By Andrew McGarry

The Suns have almost recovered one there, and Christian Petracca was undoubtedly involved.

The number three sprang on the ball close to 50 and gave Will Graham a stunning slip as he had been exhorting his teammates to hoist once more and react to this final-quarter rush from Geelong.

Graham went again, but his blow sprayed to the straight.

Zeke Uwland has made a very respectable album for the Suns, but he has been dealt a fantastic half-dozen footy from Ollie Dempsey.

The 32 is angry, and he has now moved onto Bailey Smith from Dempsey.

And yet another for Dempsey!

By Andrew McGarry

launching Twitter information

Stop velocity when faced by the opposing team is one of the most difficult AFL tasks.

Right then it’s Geelong, they get a heart clearance, wash it downfield and it’s that person Ollie Dempsey once!

He kicks on the run from the proper bag, and he scores four.

Geelong leads by five points in a column, and the prospect is at a lessening 56.

Geelong is back on a roll

By Andrew McGarry

Edgar Hardwick would be a little irritated by this situation.

Even the Suns are running out of breath a little after going so difficult for three quarters in this moisture.

Whatever the sign is, the Felines are not placing it in the plate, so Brad Close swings the ball into the circle where Ollie Dempsey leaps and makes a level.

He kicks another person!

Geelong receives another Shannon Neale.

By Andrew McGarry

Are the Suns putting their feet down below?

The Cats are also coming, and they get a gratis in midfield and work it immediately to space- Shannon Neale converts another, and that’s three immediately goals to the visitors.

The result has reverted to 67 points.

Dempsey gets another to begin the last third

By Andrew McGarry

The Animals have a strong start to the new year. Despite the leaderboard being completely gone, they haven’t put their heads down and are still trying to pressure the Suns.

A long push inside 50 led to a completely to Ollie Dempsey, with Zeke Uwland giving it away with some over-zealous interest.

Dempsey kicked his following, too. The result is also 73 details.

Mac Andrew’s “nearly” time level

By Andrew McGarry

There was a time in the second word when Mac Andrew made the decision to actually go for a fly despite all the Suns ‘ attacking and goalscoring.

He went up a floor or two as the audience roared, but he don’t hang on to the medication.

3QT: Gold Coast leads Geelong by 79, 18.8 ( 116 ) to 5.7 ( 37 )

By Andrew McGarry

The alarm ends the activity for Gold Coast’s next seven-goal quarter.

Although The Suns were undisputed favorites for this sport, I don’t understand if anyone else but Gold Coast one-eyed followers saw this coming.

The Suns have 56 inside 50s to three fourth day, 11 marks inside 50 and 13 interceptions inside ahead 50.

Who can use the term “forward protective stress”? Although the Cat haven’t been particularly strong, this has been a pretty strong performance from Gold Coast.

Dempsey wins one up for Geelong.

By Andrew McGarry

Although it’s kind of like a drop in the ocean, Geelong has gotten one up with a purpose from Ollie Dempsey.

It’s just been so difficult for the Felines to produce ground up ahead.

Felines on the verge of a 100-point defeat

By Andrew McGarry

Statistics guru- when was the last moment Geelong lost by over 100?

– Jeremy

Specifically Jeremy, but the biggest reduction for Chris Scott at Geelong was a 2014 defeat by Sydney by 110 points.

Regardless of precisely when it was last, it feels like we’re heading quickly for a triple-figure effect.

John Noble has just about completed yet another burst through the center, and the prospect has fallen to 85 factors.

Never yet three quarters of a second has passed.
