The Gurugram authority has sanctioned a redevelopment plan to transform the narrow 2-km link road between Naurangpur and Rampura Chowk on NH-8 into 6-lane arterial stretch.
Once complete, the new 84-metre-wide corridor in Gurugram will integrate Sectors 78, 79, and 80 into the city’s high-speed road network, reducing travel times and unlocking real estate and commercial potential.
In a major infrastructure push for Gurugram, the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has sanctioned a Rs 41.8-crore redevelopment plan to transform the narrow two-kilometre link road between Naurangpur and Rampura Chowk on NH-8 into a modern six-lane arterial stretch. The redevelopment will significantly improve access for Sectors 78, 79, and 80, which have been constrained by a 5.5-metre link road. Once complete, the new 84-metre-wide corridor will integrate these sectors into the city’s high-speed road network, reducing travel times and unlocking real estate and commercial potential.
Sector 80 stands out for its prime location, offering direct access to Delhi, Sohna, IGI Airport, and IMT Manesar via the KMP Expressway, Southern Peripheral Road (SPR), and Dwarka Expressway, along with proximity to the Delhi-Jaipur highway. The planned redevelopment includes a six-lane main carriageway with a central verge.

Conscient Developers has launched two premium residential projects, Elaira Residences, which spans 5.5 acres and offers 536 luxury 3BHK apartments, of which 268 apartments have been launched in the First Phase.
The company also launched Parq last year, a luxury development that witnessed prices rise from Rs 14,500 to Rs 17,000 per sqft within just six months of its launch. With this redevelopment of the road leading to enhanced connectivity, the pieces are expected to further appreciate.
Mohit Agarwal, business head, Conscient Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, said, “Sector 80 in New Gurugram is fast emerging as a prime residential hub, driven by its strategic location, robust infrastructure, and seamless connectivity. With wide roads, planned development, and proximity to key city centers, the area is attracting discerning homebuyers looking for a well-balanced lifestyle. While Sector 80 stands to benefit the most, nearby Sectors 78 and 79 are also poised to benefit from the road improvements. Improved access to NH-8 and SPR is expected to boost property values, enhance rental yields, and attract retail and commercial developments. Education, healthcare, and leisure infrastructure are expected to follow the rising demand, creating a virtuous growth cycle.
“The redevelopment of this crucial road is a landmark moment for Sector 80. It doesn’t just mean improved commute times — it represents progress, safety, and a better quality of life for our residents. As one of the early real estate developers in this region, we have always believed in Sector 80’s strategic importance. With this infrastructure boost, the area is now perfectly positioned for accelerated residential and commercial growth,” said, Rahul Singla, director of Mapsko Group.
With major real estate developments reshaping the city, Sector 80 and its neighboring areas are set to transform into a thriving, well-connected urban cluster, embodying the promise of elevated living in one of India’s most dynamic real estate markets.
