A professional change to Australia’s boat may prevent his injury from occurring again because of Isaac Jensen’s troublesome knee, which allowed him to sail through the first day of the Sydney SailGP without suffering.

Australia’s top off-season filing was injured to his knee, which put his hopes on competing in the season’s only another event on home soil, two days before the season-eying Perth regatta next month.

The Olympic gold medalist, however, returned quicker than expected to help the Flying Roos win two of the first four port tribes on the opening time of Sydney after missing Australia’s victory at the Auckland SailGP next month.

” I’ve been dying to go out there and compete with these people. Jensen told AAP,” I’m very happy to be doing that today.”

With three ships tribes to go on Sunday, Australia is next on the scoreboard after making a good fist of tough east problems on Sydney Harbour.

Australia will compete in the event last if it places in the bottom three in the standings for a chance to earn the second race on home soil since the Sydney SailGP in 2024.

Jensen’s leg felt good right away after racing on Saturday to support their cause.

” It’s all right pulled up,” it says. No actual plays are present, Jensen, a former part of the Great Britain vessel that won the grand final next year.

” I’ve been working with a very good doctor and sports doctor, and I’ve been doing a lot of therapy.” They’ve given me a lot of sound advice.

When the wing trimmer’s foot got caught between the catamaran’s trampoline and the pod in the center of the boat during a practice session on Fremantle Harbour, causing the boat’s wing trimmer to injure his left knee.

” There was a small gap there,” the author said. It has now been filled, Jensen claimed.

” We’re in good shape from here on out, so hopefully from here on out, the little hole I fell through doesn’t exist anymore.”

Jensen tipped well as a key to Australia’s chances of staying in the lead with a spot in the Sydney event final.

The Aussies were penalized for starting too early in the third race after falling off their foils on Saturday during the second race. Spain was able to clinch both victories and position itself as the event leader.

We just need to get off the starting line well, Jensen said,” It seems like we’re moving through the fleet well.”

” I think we can definitely get a few more race wins if we do that,” he said.
