A professional shift to Australia’s ship may avoid his injury from occurring again because of Isaac Jensen’s frustrating knee, which made it through the first day of the Sydney SailGP without being hurt.

Australia’s celebrity off-season filing was struck down by a leg injury that seriously hurt his chances of competing in the season’s only another event on home soil two times before the season-eying Perth race next month.

The Olympic gold medalist, however, returned quicker than expected to help the Flying Roos win two of the first four submarine races in Sydney after missing Australia’s victory at the Auckland SailGP next month.

” I’ve been dying to go out there and compete with these people.” I’m really glad to be doing that right now, Jensen told AAP.

With three ship races left on Sunday, Australia is following overall, having already made a good palm of the hard east conditions on Sydney Harbour.

When Australia is in the top three in the standings for the event, it does face Australia in the last for a chance to earn the second regatta on its own waters since the Sydney SailGP in 2024.

Jensen’s leg felt good right away after racing on Saturday to support their cause.

” It’s all right pulled up,” it says. No true plays are present, Jensen, a former part of the Great Britain vessel that won the grand final last year.

” I’ve been doing a lot of therapy, and I’ve been working with a very good doctor and sports doctor. They’ve given me a lot of sound tips.

When the aircraft trimmer’s feet got caught between the catamaran’s bounce and the pod in the center of the vessel during a training session on Fremantle Harbour, he suffered an injury to his left leg.

” There was a small distance it,” the author said. It has now been filled, Jensen said.

” We’re in good shape from here on out, but hopefully from here on out, the little hole I fell over doesn’t exist again.”

The key to Australia’s chances of remaining competitive in the Sydney celebration last was Jensen’s strong starting position.

The Aussies were penalized for starting too early in the second race after falling off their decks during Saturday’s following race. It gave Spain the chance to get both games and climb to the top of the leaderboard.

We simply need to get off the starting line also, Jensen said,” It seems like we’re moving through the ship well.”

” I think we can definitely find a few more race win if we do that,” he said.
