Good Charlotte has finally landed in Western Australia to kick off their world tour, but before business got underway, the band’s frontmen enjoyed some leisure time in Fremantle.
Joel and Benji Madden are set to rock RAC Arena on Tuesday night with the rest of the band, Paul Thomas and Billy Martin, for the start of their Motel Du Cap world tour.
After arriving in WA, the brothers headed to Fremantle for a visit to the Royal Fremantle Golf Club on Monday.
Staff at the golf club were more than excited to meet the legendary rockers and shared a photo of the pair on its Facebook page.
“Couple of special guests at Royal Fremantle today,” the photo was captioned.
“Thanks for stopping by.”
In the photo, the Madden brothers are seen posing at the entrance to the venue wearing casual t-shirts, black pants and matching sneakers.
Good Charlotte fans took to the comments section of the post, delighted to see what the celebrities were getting up to for their first trip Down Under in eight years.
“Wowsers. How things have changed. A quiet round of gold and arriving a few days before a show,” one fan said.
Another said: “Lifestyles of the rich and famous.”
“Welcome boys,” a third fan added.
It seems Joel and Benji’s wives, Nicole Richie and Cameron Diaz respectively, haven’t joined their husbands for their stop in Perth with Richie sharing photos on Instagram from an event in Las Vegas.
Aussie fans will be some of the first in the world to experience Good Charlotte’s eighth studio album live following the project’s August release.
After the Perth show, the band will perform in Brisbane, Bendigo, Sydney, and Auckland.
