Erratic tennis star Corentin Moutet has clapped back at former Australian Open villain Danielle Collins for a strange claim she made about the Frenchman while commentating.
In a new segment on the Tennis Channel called Storytime with Danielle — the first of which was about her dog doing his business in the locker room — Collins claimed Moutet was flirting with her at the Miami Open.
Co-host Steve Weissman said Moutet was “cat-calling” Collins while she was on the Tennis Channel near where the world number 33 was practising on court.
“And I basically said to him, ‘If you’re gonna be flirting with me like that you’re gonna have to get a bigger serve,'” she said to awkward silence from her co-hosts.

“Some people think it comes down to height, some people think it comes down to personality, but really what it comes down to is big forehands and big serves.”
Collins, who became public enemy number one after mocking Melbourne Park fans at the 2025 Australian Open, then went on to claim Moutet had messaged her after her dating profile attracted some attention late last year.
The 32-year-old’s dating site bio said last year that she was “kind of aspiring to be a trad wife” after her “boss babe era” had ended.
“Just wanting to raise my chickens, do home projects, make freshly baked sourdough, be a stay-at-home dog mom, and hopefully pop out some babies soon,” it read.
“If you’re going to lie about your height, just leave me the f*** alone. This is a no short kings zone.”
Collins said on-air it was “kind of funny because he [Moutet] unfollowed me when I said I wasn’t interested in the short kings”.

“He was upset about that — he messaged me and then unfollowed me,” she said.
She continued, saying Moutet had “slid back into the DMs last night” to ask if she had seen “all the big serves that he was hitting” in his 6-0, 1-6, 6-4 win over Tomáš Macháč in the second round.
Moutet replied to the video on social media, saying, “How can I unfollow you when I never followed you,” and calling out the Tennis Channel.
“How can you let someone say BS like this on tv,” he wrote.

“You [Collins] followed me. You asked me for mixed [doubles]. And I’ve never even followed you.
“You (sic) ready to say anything so people talks about you.
“You should learn how to love yourself so you won’t have to do stupid things for [people’s love].”
After Moutet’s response, a community note was added to the initial Tennis Channel video stating that Moutet had denied Collins’s claims.
Weissman, after Collins’s story was over, said the segment would be back the following day.
“Some people hate it, some people love it, but you care and that’s really all that matters,” he said.
Collins announced her retirement in early 2024 to focus on starting a family and then enjoyed the best year of her career, before reversing that decision and returning to the tour last year after enduring fertility struggles and an endometriosis diagnosis.
She is sitting out the first part of the 2026 season as she recovers from a back injury and freezes her eggs.
“It’s been one of the coolest things I’ve ever done,” she wrote on Instagram in December.
“But at the same time these hormones I have had to be on are a real b****.”
