One of Germany’s most renowned contemporary thinkers, Jurgen Habermas, passed away at the age of 96.

His publication Suhrkamp Verlag reported that Habermas passed away on Saturday in Starnberg, Bavaria.

His big works were developed in Frankfurt, where his career at the Institute for Social Research, led by scientist Theodor W. Adorno, were well-known as the 20th century’s dominant open intellectual.

Habermas was born in Dusseldorf on June 18, 1929, and studied economy, European literature, philosophy, and philosophy in Göttingen, Zurich, and Bonn.

His political study contributed to the development of Germany’s post-war academic environment, starting with the 1962 publication of The Architectural Transformation of the Public Sphere.

He likewise regarded his 1981 publication as a groundbreaking work in theory, The Theory of Communicative Action.

Habermas ‘ research frequently looked at the idea of the public sphere and looked at the discourse styles that were most appropriate for organizing democratic societies.
