Several schools in the national capital received bomb threats via email on Monday morning, triggering panic among students, parents and school authorities.
According to the Delhi Fire Service, information about the threatening emails was received around 8 am. Following this, calls were made to the fire department and the police, prompting immediate action.
Teams from the fire service and the Delhi Police rushed to the affected schools and began thorough checks of the premises. Officials said evacuation procedures were initiated in some schools as a precautionary measure while search operations were conducted.
