Delhi authorities have implemented a special traffic and administrative plan as the AI Impact Summit–2026 and CBSE Board Exams 2026 coincide in the capital. With security deployment and possible road diversions in central Delhi, officials are prioritising a smooth and timely commute for Class 10 and 12 students.

Delhi will witness a rare convergence of a major international technology summit and the commencement of board examinations this week. With heightened security arrangements and increased vehicular movement expected, authorities have activated a coordinated traffic and education response plan to safeguard students’ interests.

The AI Impact Summit–2026 (Feb 16–20) and CBSE Exams starting Feb 17, 2026 are set to overlap in the national capital, prompting authorities to activate a joint action plan aimed at ensuring minimal disruption for students and commuters.

The AI Impact Summit–2026 will be hosted at Bharat Mandapam from February 16 to 20, an event expected to witness high-profile participation and increased security arrangements in and around central Delhi.

At the same time, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin its Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations on February 17 across multiple centres in the city.

JOINT COORDINATION BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS

In view of the simultaneous events, the Delhi Traffic Police and the Education Department have jointly implemented elaborate arrangements to streamline traffic and safeguard students’ commute.

Officials confirmed that affected schools and designated nodal officers have been briefed in advance to ensure real-time coordination. The move is aimed at preventing last-minute confusion, particularly in areas where traffic diversions may be enforced due to summit-related security protocols.

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE FOR BOARD CANDIDATES

Field staff across Delhi Police districts have been sensitised to assist students travelling to their examination centres. Candidates carrying valid admit cards or date sheets will be facilitated, especially in zones impacted by traffic regulation measures.

Authorities have emphasised that students appearing for the CBSE board examinations remain a priority, and every effort will be made to ensure they reach their centres on time and without undue stress.

ADVISORY FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS

Students and parents have been advised to plan their commute in advance, leave early, and keep track of official traffic updates. The Delhi Traffic Police has urged commuters to regularly follow its advisories for real-time information on diversions and congestion.

With thousands of students set to appear for the board examinations and a major international summit unfolding simultaneously, the coordinated strategy aims to balance security requirements with academic commitments, ensuring smooth conduct of both events in the capital.
